By creating an account or purchasing access to HoldQR ("we", "our", or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. The Core Commercial Promise: Lifetime Access

HoldQR operates on an ownership model designed for permanent print media:

  • Starter Free Tier: Provides up to 3 dynamic QR codes at ₹0 with full dynamic redirection and scan analytics.
  • Lifetime Plan: Provides unlimited dynamic QR codes for a single one-time payment (₹2,499 INR for India / $39 USD internationally). There are no monthly subscriptions, hidden maintenance fees, or renewal charges.
  • Permanent Pattern Integrity: The printed QR pattern points to your unique slug on our domain (/q/[slug]). You may update the destination URL behind this slug at any time without reprinting.

3. Acceptable Use & Content Restrictions

You agree not to use HoldQR for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Directing scanners to malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious executables.
  • Phishing, credential harvesting, or impersonating financial institutions and brands.
  • Distributing illegal drugs, weapons, or violent and extremist materials.
  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or automated abuse against our redirection infrastructure.

We reserve the right to immediately pause, disable, or terminate any QR code or account found in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy without refund.

4. Service Availability & Uptime

We recognize that your physical printed materials (menus, product packaging, signage) depend on our redirect infrastructure. We maintain multi-region edge deployment and 99.9% uptime architecture. In the event of planned maintenance, redirects continue operating without interruption.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HoldQR and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including print production costs or third-party service downtime.
